I was reading “Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book was recommended reading for one of my English Literature classes. I want to share with you the following line that I underlined:
“Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,” he told me, “just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.””
That statement written on page 1, Chapter 1 of this classic novel made me think. Not everybody you may know or see is as blessed as you are. They may never have had the blessings you have experienced in your life. You are blessed beyond measure.
Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV)
(1) “Judge not, that ye be not judged. (2) For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
