http://ref.ly/Jn5.25-29

Isaiah 26:19 (KJV)
(19) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Daniel 12:2 (KJV)
(2) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt

Psalm 16:10 (NKJV)
(10) For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Jesus begins His discussion concerning the resurrection with the word “Verily.” This word is another word for “truly.” Jesus is saying that He is about to speak on is “reliable, steady and trustworthy. Do not be astonished by these words! The hour is coming in which all who are in graves will hear Jesus’ voice. All will be resurrected, raised up from the dead. God’s creative Word will one day call to life the bodies of all who are in the grave. He will bring back those whose bodies were buried at sea, cremated, or destroyed in some other way. Faith opens the door to blessings that His resurrection guarantees. For those who are believers, they shall receive a glorified body, and a home in heaven. We will be united with our families to live eternally. http://ref.ly/Jn6.40 http://ref.ly/Jn11.25 http://ref.ly/1Co15.22 http://ref.ly/1Th4.16
